Rupert Irikefe

Mr. Rupert Irikefe is an indigene of Aragba-Orogun in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria. He is Urhobo by tribe but speaks Kwale and English Languages fluently.

He holds an LL.B from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, and a B.L from the Nigerian Law School.

He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2008 and proceeded to work as a Solicitor in the Warri and Abuja Law Offices of Thompson Okpoko (SAN) & Partners until 2012 when he resigned to establish the Law Firm of Irikefe, Otubu & Partners which later became known as Emakpor, Irikefe & Partners.

Presently, Mr. Rupert Irikefe is a Partner in the Law Firm of Emakpor, Irikefe & Partners with offices in Abuja, Warri and Port-Harcourt. He is in active legal practice.

His areas of legal practice  includes medical negligence, contract, criminal defence, banking, insurance, project finance, maritime, real property, taxation, construction, matrimonial, custody, adoption and child support services as well as dispute resolution.

He is the 2nd Vice- President, National Association of Catholic Lawyers, NACL, and a member of Legal Advocacy and Response to Drugs Initiative, LARDI.

He plays golf and loves travelling.
